Our laser safety curtains are manufactured to meet custom specifications and to fit any area in your environment.
Lasermach equips custom-made curtains and protective sleeves with Velcro closures, rings and/or eyelets depending on the application according to customer specifications.
The protective curtains reliably shield employees outside the cabin: No radiation escapes to the outside. Important! Reflections must be avoided! Lasermach manufactures laser welding protection covers precisely according to customer requirements. As a result, hoses, electrical cables, extraction systems and the like are protected against laser radiation.

This EN 12254 standard applies to supervised screens for installations in working places at which laser radiation up to a maximum mean power of 100 W or single pulse energy of 30 J . Simply : protection for low power testlabo's

PhotonSafe® Series - Laser Safety Curtains
PhotonSafe® Laser Protection curtains are provided with high-level protection from laser radiation, and meet the laser safety requirements of class 4 laser.
Lasersafe® laser protection curtains are tested according to laser safety standards IEC 60825, EN60825 and GB 7247. In addition, conformity with CMA and CNAS, accreditation system which have been integrated to international mutual recognition, they are compliant with CE standards, and meet the threshold of European market.

The welding curtains are for visual protection use and although they are flame retardant, they are not suitable for use as a welding blanket and/or as protection against welding sparks. The material is not intended to replace a welding window but to be used to protect bystanders from harmful rays in the welding area.

The laser safety Welding curtain is suitable for delimiting laser welding areas to block direct scattered light from the welding laser. Standard widths from 1,5 m with heights of up to 2,70 m can be manufactured to exact dimensions. Several curtains can be firmly connected with Velcro or zipper so that, for example, a rectangular work area can be delimited. Suitable rail systems for mounting the curtain directly to the ceiling or suspended from a high ceiling with vertical rods are optionally available..

Please note that the curtain material only protects against stray light from the laser when using a hand-held laser welding device as intended. It is necessary for the laser protection officer in your company to confirm as part of a risk assessment that the maximum permissible radiation levels of the curtain are not being reached or exceeded. Scattered radiation, which can escape upwards, downwards or sideways, must be evaluated by the laser safety officer with regard to maximum permissible radiation levels depending on the on-site situation. Additional laser protection measures may be required.

Laser barrier curtains are the ideal solution for protection of sensitive areas. The thick materials are configured for almost any layout that you require for your application. The laser curtains can also roll side to side on our industrial curtain track system or be static mounted. These light weight laser curtains are easy to move and can be collapsed into a small space when they are pulled back. Uses include portable laser barriers, blackout laser curtains and laser curtain material. Now available is class 4 laser curtains.
