PhotonSafe Laser PROTECT are professional mobile heavy duty safety screens designed for working with Class 4 lasers. Thanks to their lightweight yet durable construction, the system can be easily adapted to various production conditions and process requirements.
The possibility of quick assembly and flexible configuration makes creating a safe working area easier than ever before. The panels can function as standalone shields or as components of larger systems, allowing the construction of enclosed protective workstations. Free-Standing Laser Barriers
When you need maximum flexibility for enclosing a laser work area, or need a temporary Class 1 laser safe work zone, choose movable laser barriers. Movable barriers are a great alternative to laser curtain systems and are available in in the highest protection range under EN60285 standard. Laser barriers are constructed of rigid aluminium frames with pivoting and locking swivel casters.
These laser screens can be used alone or used as partition walls by joining several together “daisy-chain” fashion using light blocker hinges contructed of the same material as the laser barrier.

Mobile and Flexible Configuration
The PhotonSafe PROTECT system has been designed for maximum mobility and easy adaptation to your changing production needs. Each panel is equipped with durable, swiveling lockable wheels, allowing for quick repositioning and stable placement of the screens in the desired location. This makes it easy to create both temporary and semi-permanent protective rooms in production halls or workshops.
This solution offers complete freedom of configuration – from single screens separating workstations to extended multi-panel systems that form fully enclosed and safe zones for working with laser welding equipment.
Facilities using lasers which are Class 4 under service conditions may require free-standing screens to allow other work to continue safely in the same room during service. Also, where a production line uses a Class 4 laser for cutting and/or welding, it is impractical for the whole facility to observe Class 4 safety regulations. However, using complete enclosures can transform the laser facility into a Class 1 system.
Lasermach provide a range of free-standing laser-blocking screens which are designed for use as passive guards to enclose areas where Class 3B or Class 4 lasers are in use either to protect against accidental exposure to the laser beam or for long term blocking of laser radiation at lower power densities.
All Lasermach laser-blocking screens are CE marked and certified to BS EN IEC 60825-4 Safety of Laser Products Part 4: Laser Guards.
All of the screens are portable and can be used as simple temporary installations or can be used on a semi-permanent or permanent basis as required.
Components and Configurations

PhotonSafe protective panels make it possible to create single work enclosures, modular partitions separating multiple work zones, or larger setups for serial production. This allows the system to be easily adapted to the needs of the facility while maintaining full mobility and workplace safety.
